Sarawak Heart Foundation (SHF) is holding Miri Heart Week from April 25 to 26.
Location : Bintang Megamall
Time : 10am to 9pm
Themed ‘Heart-Healthy Environments’, the event will feature free health screening, blood donation, posters exhibition, a zumbathon and a cultural dance.
The Sarawak Heart Foundation had organised events to increase public awareness on heart diseases.
The public would have the opportunity to have free health screening, including body mass index (BMI) checking, blood glucose, cholesterol level as well as health counselling from medical personnel. The public who intend to do the health screening is advised to fast at least six hours (only drinking water) before the blood test in order to have more accurate results.
There will also be a blood donation on April 25 from 10am to 2pm and zumbathon on April 26 from 2pm to 4pm.
Those who are interested to join the zumbathon should dress appropriately and contact 012-873 6667 (Mandy Wong)
